LinePilot

Terms of Service

Last updated 8 September 2026

These terms govern your use of LinePilot, food-safety software provided by Leigh Amor LLC. By subscribing or using the product, you agree to them.

Read this one first

LinePilot helps you monitor and record food safety. It does not replace your own procedures, your staff's judgement, or your legal obligations. Alerts can be delayed or fail to arrive for reasons outside our control — a phone is off, a network is down, a carrier drops a message. Do not rely on LinePilot as your only safeguard.

1. What LinePilot is

LinePilot is a subscription service for commercial kitchens. It records temperatures and safety checks, flags overdue tasks, alerts staff when something is out of range, and keeps a history you can show an inspector. It is delivered through a wall-mounted terminal, a web dashboard, and text or email alerts.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information when subscribing and keep it current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including what your staff do with it.

Keep credentials confidential. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Subscription and payment

LinePilot is billed monthly in advance through Stripe. The current price is shown at checkout and on our website. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

We may change pricing. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice before it affects your renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, or where we have failed to provide the service and cannot put it right.

4. Cancelling

You may cancel at any time. Service continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and does not renew after that. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment, for misuse, or where required by law — with notice unless the circumstances make that impossible.

Export your compliance records before you cancel. See section 8 for how long we keep them.

5. Text message alerts

If you enable text alerts, you are responsible for obtaining each employee's consent before entering their mobile number, and for telling them they may reply STOP at any time.

We send only operational alerts — never marketing. Message and data rates may apply to recipients. Frequency depends on kitchen conditions.

Delivery depends on mobile carriers and is not guaranteed. See the warning at the top of this page.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use LinePilot to break the law, to send unsolicited messages, to enter numbers you have no permission to contact, to interfere with the service, or to attempt access to accounts that are not yours. Do not resell or redistribute the service without our written agreement.

7. Your data

Your records remain yours. You grant us the permission we need to store, process and display them in order to run the service. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

We may use aggregated, de-identified information — patterns that cannot identify you, your staff or your business — to improve the product.

8. Availability and records

We aim to keep LinePilot running continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, outages at our hosting or messaging providers, and problems with your own network or hardware can all interrupt it.

We keep your compliance history for the life of the account, and for 90 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted.

9. Hardware

Terminals and sensors purchased from us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We are not responsible for damage from misuse, water, power problems, or installation not done to our guidance.

10. Disclaimers

LinePilot is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that alerts will always be delivered, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using LinePilot will make you compliant with any food-safety regulation. Compliance remains your responsibility.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Leigh Amor LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, spoiled inventory, business interruption, regulatory penalties, or reputational harm.

Our total liability for any claim relating to LinePilot is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case they apply only as far as permitted.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Leigh Amor LLC against claims arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or your failure to obtain consent before adding someone's mobile number.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account administrators at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use LinePilot after that means accepting them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cowlitz County, Washington, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
