Design the light before you point the projector.

Two ways in. Both take a photo of the surface you're projecting onto and give you back an MP4 to play through LumiCanvas.

Follows the form
Flow

Reads the shape in your photo and grows light along it — wire mesh over a face, bark climbing a trunk, strands tracing a body. You paint a section, it finds the contours itself.

Open Flow
Reach for it when the subject has a shape worth following — a tree, a face, a statue, a car.
Fills the region
Light

You draw the regions — a window, a doorway, a roofline — and fill each with an effect. Fireworks, embers, aurora, plasma, sweeps. Thirteen of them, each on its own timing.

Open Light
Reach for it when the surface is flat and architectural — a house front, windows, a wall, a stage.

Still not sure?

The difference is what decides where the light goes.
